STIJL

Design: Giuseppe Vigano

Simple ideas can sometimes be the hardest to achieve from an aesthetic perspective. A small table, like any other is just a top with four legs and yet Stijl manages to break the ordinary with an ode to some of the great geometric artists of a generation. From Bryce Hudson to Josef Albers, their impact is clear to see with Stijl. Linear shapes poke and pierce through each range of materials such as crystal, cement and wood adding texture and flow to design; together creating something exceptional. The final touch is the square metal legs, delivering intersecting lines and strong vertical drops in powerful colours and tones.
